My Sassy Rose: Boracay Escapade (second time around)

Boracay is an island of the Philippines located approximately 315 km (200 miles) south of Manila and 2 km off the northwest tip of the island of Panay in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

June 20-22, 2010. This will be my second time around in Boracay. Now I'm with Buds Bucaneg and Lucille Sodipe. We stayed at the Pearl of the Pacific Hotel located in station one. This vacation is also a birthday celebration for Buds as he set to his 27th birthday.

First day. every one was so excited. It was the first time that WE (Buds, Lucille and Me) will be traveling together a well deserved R&R. It was also Buds' first time to visit the beautifl Island and it couldn't even get better because we stayed there to celebrate his birthday. After checking in at the hotel we went to the shore walked along the shoreline, inspected the place. Buds and I stopped at 'd mall to have lunch and waited for Lucille to arrive so we can dig to our lunch plates at Mang Inasal. After that we retire to our hotel room and rested for a while. At 4pm we prepared to swim at the beach. We swam up until 7pm or 8pm (we really didn't had the sense of time during our entire stay at the beach) Tons of pitures were taken while we swam. And even dared to skinny dipped. After the very relaxing dip into the water, we went back at the hotel room to freshen up and prepared for dinner. We dined at Boracay Beach Resort, located along station 2; had out sumptuos meal and we capped the night off by drinking and dancing our butts off at Club Paraw.

Second Day. We went island hopping, that includes snorkeling and a little shopping at the Puca Beach. We had lunch at Tesebel Diner, located in Puca Beach. During our snorkeling session, it was very relaxing to watch the different species of fish go about their business, not minding the strangers above them. Another highlight of the adventure was feeding them. It was a cool site indeed. After four hours of island hopping we went back at the hotel to rest for a while and freshen up. Sad for me, I felt so drained and slept the whole afternoon, I've missed the very beautiful sunset of Boracay (but nevertheless, I felt well rested!) We had dinner at the Bite Club, located at station 2. One of bite club's best menu to offer was the one pounder burger called triple X, coward much we choose to have Burgerella instead. It was a 1/3 pounder beef pattie stuffed with mozzarella. The burger was a site to see and we all agreed that it was indeed heavy in the stomach. We capped the night with another round of drinking and dancing, this time at Guilly's bar.

Third and Last day. Lucille had to get home early due to workload. She catched the early flight out of Caticlan heading back to Manila. So Buds and I stayed and run to the beach to have that last swim. Went back to the hotel at around 1030am to fix ourselves and our things. We had lunch at Mang Inasal again. By 2pm we headed out to Caticlan wherein a van would take us to Kalibo Airport. Ride home was a little bumpy due to the bad weather, but still we landed safely in Manila. And we were back to reality
