Synopsis: Michel dreams of the perfect encounter, one that happens completely by accident like the way that his parents and his grandparents met. Meanwhile, Vincent has only one thing on his mind: sex. Friends from childhood with diametrically opposed views about women, they discover the limits of their respective reasoning when they meet Angèle and Nathalie.
My Review:
During the entire movie, I can't help but laugh! The movie presented has a nice plot of having that "perfect" moment to meet the love of your life by fate and to have that "fate story" to tell 10-20 years after you end up together. Michel was just obessed to have that encounter after being married and divorced a year later to her childhood sweetheart. His best-buddy Vincent was the perfect male giggolo, so to speak, sex was the only thing he has in mind whenever he is with women.
Twist of fate struck them both when Vincent tried to fix Michel's "perfect encounter" with a lady friend he met thru his "girlfriend" Nathalie. Michel thought he had met the lady of her dreams by fate when he met Angele at a bar wearing a Mexican outfit, but what he didn't know was that Vincent set the meeting. After learning about it, he broke up with Angele and got mad with Vincent who realized that he was madly in love with Nathalie and can do all the cliche things that lovers would do.
The movie showed that love can really do crazy things to any man or woman. It also showed that every thing we do is what fate gives us. We just don't realized it right away. Sometimes we are so stubborn that fate already gave us the right person we've all been waiting for but for some unknown reasons we always tries to find the fault to walk away from it then suddenly realizing that we were wrong to do that. Thus what we do is to cry over spilled milk wherein fact we can still do something to makes things right for us. Making everything seems to perfect is not bad but life is not always perfect as we may want it to be.
