Where have your SANDALS gone?

Mechanics

1. This is a contest open to all Ipanema, Grendha and Rider owners. This includes owners who purchased their pair in some other country besides the Philippines.

2. Photo should be either of the owners wearing their sandals in some fun, hip location, engaged in a fun
activity or showing the uniqueness of their flip flops, slides or sandals while hanging out.

3. A valid entry includes:
• A photo answering the question: Where Have Your Sandals Gone?
• A close up photo of the sandal where the brand name or style/design can be easily seen. Style or model of the sandal should also be indicated if known.
• A title and a short narrative detailing the story behind the photo
• Name of contestant and contact details (landline or mobile number, email, address)

4. This promo seeks out the most appealing photos reflecting the Ipanema, Grendha and Rider personality and lifestyle.

5. A contestant can send as much entries as he/she wants. In case more than one entry of the same participant win any of the prizes, the prize of higher value shall be awarded. The remaining prize shall be given in favor of the succeeding winner, in descending order.

6. Photos must not be lower than 300dpi in resolution.

7. Photo entries can be creatively enhanced or digitally manipulated but no major alteration or enhancement should be done on the sandals to determine authenticity.

9. There will be five (5) finalists per brand; one of them will be named grand prize winner.

10. Photos should be sent from July 1 to September 11, 2010. Winners will be chosen on September 13 and will be notified on September 26 during Sandalias Festival 2010 at the Trinoma Activity Center.

11. Prizes: All Grand Prize winners will receive a round trip for 2 to Boracay via Cebu Pacific Air and a 3D/2N hotel accommodation at Discovery Shores, a PhP 15,000.00 pocket money and PhP 10,000.00 worth of gift certificates of the brand category competed on. For Ipanema and Grendha, additional PhP5,000 gift certificates from Guess. For Rider, additional PhP 5,000.00 worth of GCs from Planet Sports. The finalists will each receive PhP 5,000.00 in cash and PhP 5,000.00 worth of gift certificates.

12. ELRO respects the photographers' rights and does not claim ownership or copyright for images submitted for this contest. The contestant will retain full ownership and copyright in each photograph. Whenever an image is published to promote the brand, the event or the contest, the photographer will be credited without monetary compensation. Failure to publish a credit due to error or oversight or uncontrolled scenarios such as a press release or a blogger's note shall not be deemed a breach of this condition.

Criteria for Judging

1. Depiction of Ipanema, Rider and Grendha lifestyles - 50%
A. Ipanema – living the fantasy in every day life
B. Rider – outdoor adventure or radical sports, enjoying the ride or what life has to offer
C. Grendha – the woman in a chic city living, fusing fashion and fashion

2. Depiction of fun and fashion - 25%

3. Creativity or uniqueness of photo - 25%
